Special Guest Designer Challenge ...

Hello crafters, it's a five week month so we're filling in the gap with a special challenge 

We'd like to see your projects with LOVE as the theme, eg, sending love, love someone, love something, weddings, anniversaries, engagements, valentines - anything you like, card, bag, tag, box etc, as long as you follow the theme of 'LOVE'

The first prize consists of:

1 metre of Cream 15mm satin ribbon, and 1 metre of bridal white 15mm satin ribbon

An ivory guipure lace heart applique  -  One bunch of ten pale pink 20mm roses

A key charm, a heart charm and a pink gem diamante heart embellishment

one pack of 5 bark hearts and a pack of Marianne Romantic Heart self adhesive pearl/crystal stickers

The second prize is a Guest DT Spot for The Ribbon Girl February  'use any image' challenge!! PLEASE ADD GDT IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR PROJECT TO BE CONSIDERED

On this Victorian style vintage valentine card Mary used 'Deborah' ivory fine cotton lace, 12mm red faux silk ribbon, ivory lace leaves and a guipure lace heart.  Flowers included burgundy 20mm open roses, small rose leaves, ivory wild rose distressed with ink, plum tiny gyp flowers, white/white beaded berries

January Any Image Challenge ...

Hello, hello we're back with our first challenge of the New Year! and it's our ANY IMAGE challenge.  As you can see, the DT have all made mostly pink cards (a nice change from Christmas cards) but you can do any colour you like and use any image - and it doesn't even have to be a card!! it can be any craft project - just as long as you include an image!

There will be 3 winners and the prizes are:

First prize:  £10 voucher for LOTV

Second prize:  £10 voucher for The Ribbon Girl

Third prize:  Mystery prize from Marianne Designs

The challenge will run for two weeks and ends on Saturday 30th January (9pm UK time). Usual rules apply - create a new project, blog about it mentioning this challenge then use the link up at the bottom to share. The prizes will be picked at random, they are nontransferable and will be redrawn after one week if they aren't claimed
