That's right, you can now use your Hanglar stamps to enter the challenge and the Just Magnolia Design Team have created some stunning cards, hop on over to the blog to see for yourself and the challenge is a really easy 'Anything Goes' challenge. We are offering a lovely prize of ribbons, lace and embellishments for the challenge winner

Andrea has been playing with her Hanglar stamps to celebrate the start of a regular sponsorship of the Just Magnolia and Hanglar Stanglar challenge blog by the Ribbon Girl  - well it would be rude not to!

(digital papers from here, flowers and leaves from here, ribbons, stickles and pins from the Ribbon Girl of course)

It's been a damp and dark here today so indoor photographs again - we would love to know how other people take such fantastic indoor photographs of their cards

**And even more ribbony news - our fabulously talented design team member Lucy is hosting a week of card sketches on her blog, every day she'll share a sketch and a card example and a little birdy told us there might even be prizes *wink* *wink*

Last Minute Christmas Projects

Hello, there is still lots of time to enter our Ribbon Girl/Lili of the Valley giveaway, that post has been pinned to the top of the blog until December 29th.
Here at The Ribbon Girl we've both been busy finishing the last of the Christmas crafts - just as well as Andrea has started to make Easter and Spring projects for a magazine now :) - and we've been taking delivery of restocks, more about those later in the post

These are Mary's final projects, we both love this Nitwit digital kit and the colour of silky crush ribbon goes perfectly

Jack and Gemma's cards both have little pockets inside made from more of the
patterned paper for a money gift and we had to share these lovely decorations! We bought a new sizzix die that cuts and scores these lovely rosettes and kind of went to town with the Stickles and jewels :) They are now hanging on our Christmas tree and look gorgeous and sparkly with the twinkly lights

Andrea's final Christmas project was to make these sweet little gift tags using her favourite red and white Bakers Twine and a Papertrey stamp and die

Restocks and New Stock

We finally managed to get restocks of our favourite small red polka dot button, they've been on back order with the suppliers for months! as well as fairy charms which lots of customers have asked for. Finally we have a new colour of satin ribbon in 15 and 25mm and 4 new colours of Divine Twine Bakers Twine

Dark Blue satin                                         Airmail

 Blueberry                                          Brown Sugar

                Plum                                             Fairy Charms

We'd like to wish all of our customers are blog visitors a very Merry Christmas

Blog Candy ...

****** The colour challenge is the post under this one ******

Hello, what's this Mammy?

What is this white stuff that falls from the sky and lands on my patio?

That, my beautiful little chap is the 13 inches of snow that has covered the Ribbon Girl kingdom since Saturday and is the very same snow that we keep clearing from the kingdom only for it to return in the very next blizzard!

So, we're covered in snow and whilst an extra 2 days off work for Andrea has been very nice we would like it to go away now and leave us alone, we've also been suffering from website gremlins but thankfully the technical people have sorted those for us.

If anyone else is feeling a little snowed in how about some beautiful Ribbon Girl Blog Candy?  Just leave us a comment on this post before Andrea goes to bed on Sunday and you might win this gorgeous ribbon wreath made by our super talented friend Gail

A little bit snowy

The Ribbon Girl world went white and sparkly this morning when we woke up to 4 inches of snow

We thought this little project by Gail was the perfect addition to the blog on this cold and snowy day
