Hello, it's the start of another Colour Challenge here on the Ribbon Girl blog today. As usual we are sponsored by the very generous team at Lili Of The Valley who are giving our winner a £10 voucher to spend in the LOTV online store as well a gorgeous Lavender ribbon kit from the Ribbon Girl
Our Colour Challenge this month has a gorgeous Pinks and Cream theme and as usual we have an inspiration photograph
This challenge will run until Saturday June 2nd at 9PM (UK time), one winner will be drawn at random from all the entries recieved and will win both prizes (LOTV voucher and Ribbon Girl kit) and three entries will be identified as 'top 3'. Please link to your project using the InLinkz button at the bottom this post. Of course there is no need to use ribbons but it would be lovely if you do but please follow the colour scheme for the challenge and only link new projects - older projects that have been linked will not be included in the draw for the prize
Before we share the Design Team projects we wanted to introduce our Guest Designer Astrid Maclean from Scotland who is joining us as a new guest. Here is what she said about herself:
"I have been stamping probably for about 10 years or so, but did not get seriously into it until about 2007. Being a teacher by profession I received my first stamp, a box of embossing powders and embossing ink, as a Christmas present from a child in my class whose mum owned a rubber stamp shop. That was the beginning of a hobby that no doubt will last well into retirement!
My paper crafting hobby has developed from those early stamping and card making days into using many different media and I would like to call myself a mixed media artist. I love journaling, altering all sorts of objects and playing about with gesso, acrylic paints, collage and many layers. Having said that, making cards for all sort of different occasions is still one of my all time favourites. Most of my creations have a vintage look about them and of course that being so I LOVE laces and ribbons!!"
