ReplyDeleteI'd use most of it for making cards, but I know exactly what my first make would be - I want to make a chocolate wrapper for a friend, and use the well known chocolate that comes wrapped in purple foil, but at the moment I have hardly any purple stash to decorate the wrapper with!

Oh my, I love all these pretty purples! I think they would be perfect for creating some box cards, but since the papers are 12x12, I think I would also use them for creating gift boxes or bags. Not sure if I could bear to part with them, though...

Hiya all, what a beautiful colour . . . I have just finished making a "3 tier Christening Cake" in different patterned blue card and paper for my little grandson's Christening in July. This has been my first attempt after seeing one on pinterest somewhere. Each tier is a box with lid into which I will be putting homemade cupcakes for the day. I would make another one using these gorgeous papers as a display piece for in my craftroom cabinet. Fingers crossed for a win and have a lovely bank holiday week end. Sue x

Oh wow, these are beautiful. The purple is gorgeous. The papers are so pretty they would be a gift in themselves so maybe some little gift baggies or decorating some boxes to match a card. They're definitely keepers so by making something like that it would be kept as a keepsake!

ReplyDeleteI would like to make a mini album with all these goodies, I found a lovely easy pattern for a small mini album that is only made up of 3 rectangles of cardstock measurement to your size of album. When the album is finished it opens in all different ways front opening two pages showing also you can have three papers show, turn over to the back and do the same. also the centre pages open separately, lots to see once finished. So these beautiful papers and goodies would really show off my mini album.

Wow this is beautiful. First I'd have to hang onto it for a few months just so I can just get it out to look at and stroke it (you just know you do the same haha). Then it would be used for what I call my special cards which are those big number ones and probably even wedding ones where the colours are appropriate. I tend to use up every scrap of papers - all little bits are used for paper piecing so really it could turn up on anything I craft.

I love making big cards and making the boxes to go with them, this would be ideal. ReplyDeletePurple is one of my new favorite colors which my grandmother warned me years ago would come with age. She use to say you know your old when you start loving any shade of purple. She was right, as always. So I think in honor of her I would create a canvas or maybe a journal about her. Then if there was anything left I tribute page to Prince and Purple Rain.
