July Magnolia Only Challenge

Hello, are you enjoying some sunshine where you live?  We had a lovely day with our teamie Becky Hetherington and her lovely daughter Grace - a little bit of crafting, a colouring masterclass with Becky, lots of nice food and good company - who could ask for more!  We're currently enjoying blue skies and lots of sunshine up here in Newcastle, it's been absolutely gorgeous.  Our 'Magnolia Only' challenge is a bit different - this month we would like you to 'make a tag', of course it is our MAGNOLIA challenge so you obviously need to use a Tilda or Edwin stamp or a Doohickey die, and of course we have two fabulous prizes from our regular sponsors - a Magnolia stamp all the way from the home of Edwin and Tilda kindly donated by Magnolia of Sweden and a £10 voucher towards a spending spree at The Ribbon Girl

Our usual rules apply - make a new project please that fits the current challenge (make a tag), no backlinking to older projects, then blog about it mentioning this challenge and use the InLinkz button at the end of the post to leave your link. The challenge closes at 9PM on Saturday 2nd August (the prize will be redrawn if it isn't claimed after one week)

Franz use an SC image 'Daisy Lou Pick a Shoe' image which she coloured with copics then added Gardenia Ivory Small, 6mm Mother of Pearl Sequins, Aqua Small Striped Button, Paradise Aqua Seam Binding, Rolled Paper Flowers - Aqua Roses Kort and Godt, 'Laila' White Vintage Style Lace, 6mm Pearl Ivory Flat Backs, Rose Organza Pale Ivory, White Chrysanth Kort and Godt 


Gail decorated an old lampshade! She used turquoise twill stripe ribbon, 38mm aqua/silver glitter organza, white hat pins and diamante gems on a silver stem all from The Ribbon Girl  Gail recommends spraying everything with a fire retardant spray if you are actually going to use the lamp

July Colour Challenge ...

The Ribbon Girl, Mary and Andrea and our Design Team would like to extend our condolences to all the families and friends of those people killed in the terrible aircrash this week. Two men from our own town were among the victims on the plane and we joined the world watching the news images in disbelief.
It's Sunday again which means it's another challenge here at The Ribbon Girl.  This week it is our Colour Challenge and we would like to see your Aqua/Turquoise projects. July Lovely Lili Challenge ...

Today we have a new Lovely Lili challenge where we showcase our love of Lili Of The Valley and The Ribbon Girl.
